It has been just over a month since our last news update. Our Bitbillions and Business Builders Club newsletter subscribers have had several emails keeping them informed during that time so if you want news more often make sure you subscribe to them.
There have been major changes to GBBG sites over the last month. A lot of the changes you will see and others you may not have even noticed. There has been a big change to the Business Builders Club and Bitbillions homepages. We are making them represent the business more accurately and professionally. We hope you like the changes.
Bitbillions
As mentioned there has been a major change to the Bitbillions home page. It has been made more professional and reflective of the future direction of the business. On your “My Referrals” page you can now see when your direct referrals last logged into the site. This will be very usefull for being able to tell which of your referrals are active and which are not. Because this was implemented about 3 weeks ago, only members that have logged in within the lat 3 weeks will have a date showing, others will say ‘No Data’.
You will also notice that there is an ‘Orphan’ column on your referrals list. This will only be relevant to Business Builders Club members to show them orphan members they have received from the club. Orphan members have only been tracked for about 5 weeks.
Business Builders Club
The homepage content has had a major revamp. On the inside, there is free and premium content. Ebooks, promotional banners and more. We are hoping to put a lot more in there over the coming weeks after we have completed a few other higher priority jobs. Premium access in future will be given when purchasing the product of the month. We are going to try to keep that product to $9. Members will be able to buy “product of the month club” subscriptions in advance as before so they do not have to pay separately every month. Current premium access members will be able to get the product of the month without further payment.
We can announce that there is going to be a big opportunity product for BBC members in May. We will have promotional banners for Alt Convention and BBC members will be able to earn 7% commissions from any ticket or sponsor sales that is made from anyone using your banner and referral link. Instructions on how to activate your referral link will be provided soon on the BBC site. We hope to have it ready by mid May.
You may or may not have noticed several new pages on the BBC site. We suggest you go and have a look at them. Down the bottom of the page you will see links to the following pages:

Lastly we are hoping to submit the site for PayPal approval within the next week. We are also looking at another payment processor (see Other News section below) that may be even better than PayPal for our members. This new processor may even allow us to add Bitcoin payments back to the GBBG network of sites. There has been some really good earnings for members through the Business Bulders Club and we want to see membership really start growing.
$9 Ad Network
There have been some new features added to the dashboard. You can now see your expiry date on your top ads by views clicks. When the ad is close to expiring, within 3 days, the ad text will turn orange. When it has expired the ad text will turn red.
Note: This is only on the Top Views and Clicks sections. If an ad expires it will move to the inactive ads within your ad management screen.
There is a new video explaining features and how to use the Ad network in development which should be released by the end of next week.
The network is continuing to grow and is getting close to hitting 2 million ad views per day. We do want to start attracting more advertisers and will work on some marketing for that over the coming month.
Alt Convention
We have had ongoing talks with several entities over the last month and are close to securing some really good additions for the convention. Already we have a speaker list that is as good if not better than most past conventions have had but it is going to get even better.
The last week we have engaged a multi-national event planning, management, and marketing organization to help us take Alt Convention to the next level. We are hoping to complete and implement the ticket sales on the site by the 11 May 2015. Once tickets are available for sale on the site the pre-purchase ticket offer (which you can find on the Bitbillions Dashboard on the Amazing Offer tab) will be closed.
There have been a lot of improvements and additions on the Alt Convention site. Due to a better than expected budget the ticket prices are on the site at a level lower than was originally set. Sponsor packages have also been reduced, in some cases by thousands of dollars. Very soon there will be a big marketing push to sell both tickets and sponsor packages. Business Builder Club members will have the opportunity to make commissions promoting those as well.
Other additions to the Alt Convention site are available from the tickets page. They include pages for “Getting to Batumi” and “Places to Stay”. These will help people that are coming from other countries to book flights and accomodation and take advantage of some great rates that we have negotiated with local hotels.
What a lot of people do not realize is the amount of interaction and high level talks that have been required to get all of Alt Convention organized. This will certainly be an event not to be missed. Included in that is some meetings that we have arranged for June that will astound people when they see what we have coming.
Task Network
At this stage the Task Network is still scheduled for launch in June 2015. Some of the changes made over the last month to the other sites, as well as some database issues that needed quick resolving, have taken longer than expected which has meant the Task Network has not had much time allocated to it. If the launch date changes we will let you know closer to the end of the month, but at this time we are fairly confident in our current launch date predictions.
Other News
We have found a new payment processor that we think will be perfect for our business. It even transacts in Bitcoin. We are checking it out and if all goes well it will be implemented on the sites this month.
Overall we hope you can see there has been a lot of progress over the last month. We expect things to really heat up over the next month with expected highlights being:
- Alt Convention ticket and sponsor sales going live;
- Marketing for advertisers;
- More Business Builder Club content;
- New payment processor;
- Commission payments to members;
- Beginning of Alt Convention marketing campaign.
